All is not lost! Several questons come to mind? Are you useing the the AGP slot on your board? Do you have a vga card for a PCI slot? If you have a vga card for a PCI slot, take the card out of the AGP slot! Take the old vga card and place it in the PCI slot! Since on boot up you still have the floppy being recognized you can still flash the bios back as it was before the bad flash! If you saved the old bios! The board you have has the award bios! Did you save the old bios?
To recover BIOS:
Go here and download
http://www.drd.dyndns.org/howto/BIOS-Recovery.pdf
Depending on how well you like your old board and want to keep it!
Options: Get a new bios chip! Not as costly, less than 30 bucks!
