Hi,

Im trying to install windows 98 on a 300GL IBM (product#6282-73U). Im at the point where I insert the cd to run the setup, but since its a proprietary machine, I need to install the proper drivers for the CDROM drive.

I can't find them anywhere! Can someone pleeease help!

Thanks--kelli
p.s: My email address is mind_game79@hotmail.com, so if someone can help me finish the installation, I would be really appreciative!

do not post driver requests in this forum (use the driver request cdrom forum)

when booting from the w98 cd or the w98 startup floppy, ide cdrom support is loaded. (there are no other drivers required)

SCSI cdrom support is also loaded for most common controllers if using the w98 startup floppy.
