I installed DOS 6.22 and win 3.1 on a HDD in my pc just to try to recreate a problem I had in another machine and I can't get the internet to work on it now??? How do I get the network adapter driver installed onto the HDD so that the internet will work??? Or can win 3.1 operate and connect to the internet???

Though I doubt this will be enough, but maybe this (http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;93736) will help you.
(Note : page doesn't display very well on FireFox, better use MS-IE for that one).

There is a TCP/IP pack for WFW somewhere on Microsoft's FTP as described on this page (http://lists.samba.org/archive/samba/1998-July/007965.html).

Also found MS IE 5.0 for Win 3.11 someday long time ago on a CD, maybe you can find it too somewhere on the net... good luck ;)

thanks for the information, I will go there and get it, I'm probably out of luck but thought it would be neat to use old OS to see if it would connect to internet, got to get the network adapter card driver installed and can't get that yet, gives a blank screen when given the option to choose the driver...thanks though!!!
