Jerry K 10-16-2003, 01:09 PM hello, i downloaded the riptide_pc99_win2000 driver and i dunno how to update it, how do u do it?? How do you update it or did you mean how do I install it? Updating a driver means to get a newer one than the current one. Please clarify your request. :disturbed Neural_Nexus 02-26-2004, 11:37 PM The first type, which I realy dont care for, are the automated ones that go in and setup the hardware, and install the driver themselves... The second type is usually a Zip file or a an EXE that un archives the Driver files to a folder, and this method I prefer... YOu need to point the Driver Setup to the folder where the Driver files reside. if its the right ones it will let you to continue to install them. If the Driver is an automated setup type it will do all this for you, again each driver varies from these two types.... Hope this was of some assistance to you! Microsoft (if your running windows) has lots of documentation on there website that can walk you through teh Driver Update/install process, they even include screen shots! asokan 01-10-2005, 04:26 AM hello, i downloaded the riptide_pc99_win2000 driver and i dunno how to update it, how do u do it?? just extract the download files to some folder then go to add/remove hardware option in control panel then select your hardware and when it ask for the driver, you give the path where you have extracted. driver 01-15-2005, 09:33 AM you ought to post your idiotic questions using you own name! but don't stop; a lot of people have nothing better to do and you are sooo entertaining... driver2 01-26-2005, 12:10 PM Open up device manager and look for a yellow question mark, open it up and you will be given a choice to up date the driver, direct the browse to the file i.e desktop. magyvr 06-15-2005, 03:51 PM you ought to post your idiotic questions using you own name! but don't stop; a lot of people have nothing better to do and you are sooo entertaining... I'm new here too, but I know enough not to flame a user when your post count is under 100 on any forum. Not too cool...driver. But judging by your attitude I doubt it matters much Constance 06-15-2005, 06:49 PM Flaming has little to see with post count. And archeology is bad too. |
