Can anyone give a method of calculating/estimating the appropriate BIOS VGA Shared Memory Allocation for a notebook P3 system with 512MB RAM and running a display mode set at 1024 x 768, True Color (32bit), 60 Herz.

Example:- A screen image in 1024 x 768 in 16 bit color is a 1.5 MB bit map. That is calculated as 1024 x 768 x 2 bytes. Each image change (with a refresh rate of 75 HZ there is 75 of them each second) requires the movement of 1.5 MB data.
