HP doesn't even list a NIC driver for this model: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareList?os=228&lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&lang=en&product=308352

And on the HP Pavilion 735n Desktop PC specs. page, (h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c00005300&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&product=308352) they only provide this information: Integrated 10/100Base-T networking interface. That's a real informative description (NOT).

However, I believe this board contains the Realtek 8201BL chip for networking. Does your motherboard look like this?

http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf-JAVA/Doc/images/c00006608.jpg

If it does, then it's a A7N8X-LA (Explorer 2) motherboard made by Asus and the network chip is Integrated, On-Board.

Since neither Asus nor HP has this driver posted, I suggest you use the driver posted here:

http://members.driverguide.com/driver/detail.php?driverid=132834

Please read the description and you will see that the lan driver is included.
