Hey, I recently installed a Dynex WEB1CD driver for my WEB1CD camera (which also has a built-in mic), and it recognises the video input fine, however I can't get any sound when I record. When I go to the "Mixer device" options, it only shows "Realtek HD Audio rear input", "Realtek HD Audio rear output", "Realtek HD Front Green Jack", and "Realtek HD Front Pink Jack". I don't know if this is sufficient enough information, but please help if you can. :s

How/what are you using to record with? How do you have it configured and connected? Microphones don't require a driver, they only require a sound card driver properly installed and connected. I'm sure your problem resides either in the software or the hardware or how it's connected, but without some details, I can't offer much else.

How does the device connect to the pc, ie: usb, firewire, other?
