HELP!!

I just exchange my toshiba windows Vista to windows XP.
I format it and my hard disk drive is missing.


I had a problem like this,

Hard Disk Drives
( C: ) 288 GB
( E: ) 1.45 GB

As I remember my hard disk was
C: and D: ( not E: )
and the local disk E: should be more than that because I can't install anything..
Please help me.. need to find the driver ( D: )
What should I do?

Hard drives don't require drivers.... hard disk controllers do. One of the first requirements to finding a driver is to first identify the hardware. What hard disk controller does your machine have?

Most likely your machine has SATA drives and so requires SATA drivers for the hard disk controller. All I can suggest is to visit the Toshiba website nearest your location and see if they have sata drivers for your machine and Windows XP.
