Hi, I have finally got my sound back but my audio does not work on my windows media player or my cd player, I have tried to sort it out but do not know what to do now.
I also have a monitor installed but no display adapter which means the colours are stuck on '16 colours' I have tried installing other display adapter's but to no avail, my most successful try was installing a 'super VGA' adapter which allowed me to choose 16-bit colours but I always had to reset my PC first and everytime it came back on it said there was an error with my display adapter.
Any help would be greatly appreciated- I am at my wits end!! Thanks, Laura

The better manner of installing everything, is having setting the card of video. Then of installing Windows x, then install of to one for time all the others cards, beginning by the audio, modem, and net in this order.
According to my experience the problems are reduced enough!
