The refresh rate doesn't want to respond to changes I make.
It keeps on flickering (like on 60Hz) even when the adapter is set to anything between 72 and 100Hz. Only 43Hz interlacing responds to the setting, but looks awful,
Got it working right 2 times; when PC was new, other time after re-installing W-98 (but forgot how).
Now back to XP and have still same problem.
Manufacturers help (Club3D) totally useless.
Have used Xabre 400 card, which works OK, except crashes in Age of Mythology. Also old Hercules FIRE1000GL works OK.
Tried ATI 7000, gave same problem. (flickering)
Use Philips 21B, but problem also with Magnavox 17". Change MB from ASUS P4S533 to Gigabyte P4Titan667, still same problem. (flickering)
Getting desperate now!
