i need drivers for windows xp for compaq presario a900/i downgraded my vista to xp and conexant audio drivers doesnt support my windows xp/thank you in advance.

So what makes you believe that XP drivers even exist? If HP didn't ship it with XP installed, they don't have XP drivers posted (or what they do post is very limited). Plus, laptops cannot use generic drivers, they must use specific drivers from the laptop maker or "hacked for laptops" drivers. You might be able to find a working driver on one of these sites:
