Support for this device is provided by the operating system. It doesn't require a separate driver. If it's a ball mouse, remove the bottom lid and ball and clean the rollers. They have a tendency to attract and collect lint which needs to be removed occasionally.

If it's an optical mouse, I'd say you have a hardware problem with the mouse.
