Friend of my, is having problems, with PC. OS WIndow ME the system is freeze up, only operate on safe Mode.. How can that be fixed.

i had the same problem. what u have to do is try all the system tools under start then programs in safe mode. Or theres a better way? Why not type MSCONFIG under Run and untick some of the programs you dont want under start up then restart pc. Or try a system restore but thats crap under ME. But if you cant be assd then back up your drivers and save it all to disk and then put in the windows 98 disk or ME disk then restart pc. It will then boot from cd it will take you though it then when it says enable large disk support say yes. Then when 98 is done put in the windows ME disk if you rebooted from a 98 disk. Then when that is done reinstall the programs. If you have problems then download the toolkit from driverguide.com but before you do that make sure you got the drivers for your modem so you can. Then it will give you the drivers you need to make your programs work. Mind you?? you may lose data that you want to keep but hay its better to have a pc that works.
