We cannot begin to help until you provide some usable information about the hardware and the machine it's used in.

If it came installed in the pc at the time of purchase, we need to know the brand and model of the pc that it came installed in.

If it was an add-on device, remove it and give us some numbers off it and include the chipset number as well as the fcc id number.

If you are unable to do so, then I suggest this software:

To find make and model of pc hardware, EVEREST Home Edition is a free system diagnostics, system information program that will id most hardware onboard a mb. as well as the actual motherboard.

Run the program and then:

Click on Computer
Click on Summary
Right hand window (hardware) if the text is BLUE this is a link to the web site for that particular hardware.
