This drive does not have a SCSI interface, it has and IDE inteface and it is not a DVD rewriter, it's simply a CD-RW Burner / DVD reader drive. It also does not require drivers when used in Windows OS's. The Vista OS provides native support that allows this drive to read a data or music disk and to burn a cd-r disk.

In order to burn cd-rw disks, compatible 3rd. party recording software is required. In order to play dvd movie disks or avi/mpeg video files, it requires compatible 3rd. party dvd decoding software like WinDVD or PowerDVD. Nothing else is required in order for this drive to perform it's normal tasks.

Please state what the problem is and include some details.
