Hi all.

Please can somebody provide me with the drivers for this device!?!? I have been searching for ages now and have finally decided to ask for help!

So far i have found that this was probably made by Quetec? I have opened the device casing up and tried searching with the info printed on the board (and chip) to no avail. The PCB has 0435 4E117895 printed on it and i think a model number which is WUD80-112. There are two stickers on the PCB which have G4914 41711 and 4B21UD8J0475 (serial no.??) on them.

Any help anyone can give would be much appreciated, it is for my little girls laptop to be connected to the internet. (she broke the last one and now i can't get on the family PC coz she is ALWAYS on it!!)

Thanks in advance!

I'd just like to add that in another thread on here the waveplus driver and link were given for the same adaptor, but i tried this and the wireless client does not recognise the card!!

What is the chipset number?

Click here (s115611942.oneandoneshop.co.uk/_wifianywhere/802.11b%20PCMCIA%20CD/autorun.exe) to download driver. (give it a try and let me know the results... good or bad)

Thanks for the reply Jerry K. No luck with the driver above, says to insert qutec wireless (blah blah blah), then won't recognise it! Where would i find the chipset no? I've looked at the chips inside but can't determine which number would be the chipset no?!?

just list all the numbers on the 1 or 2 largest chips/

OK 1891920000000
PRO3164
D436BZ

Thats what is printed on the chip with the softgate logo on it, May be slightly different though, as the numbers were very difficult to make out (so Z could be 2??)

There is then a smaller chip on the other side of the PCB which has:
AL22109
200433J
AK307721

and a logo that looks like it says Airoha? The ha on the end is the bit that confuses me!!

Thanks for the help by the way jerry k, you seem to be trying very hard to help, it is appreciated!!
