I recently cleaned out my hard drive and inadvertently removed the driver for my ethernet connection. I opened up my computer and read "MagJack SI-70027" on the device. My hardware manager no longer recognizes the device as a result.
Please help!

MagJack SI-70027 is a connector made by Stewart. It has nothing to do with ethernet other than this connector is only a jack for plugging the ethernet cable into. Your ethernet adapter is probably an on-board chipset. Please visit the website of your pc vendor or manufacturer. If you still cannot find it, download and install the following software program:

To find make and model of pc hardware, EVEREST Home Edition is a free system diagnostics, system information program that will id most hardware onboard a mb. as well as the actual motherboard.

Run the program and then:

Click on Computer
Click on Summary
Right hand window (hardware) if the text is BLUE this is a link to the web site for that particular hardware.
