I bought this scanner at a yard sale so I'm not expecting but so much from it. I installed the disk ScanOffix. Every time i try to open the program, I get an error and it shuts down. I also cannot get the scanner to TURN ON. There are 2 green buttons, neither marked nor mentioned in the manual. My computer is recognizing the printer that is plugged in through the scanner so obviously it has a connection. I have quadruple checked all connections. The TWAIN driver disk is mentioned at some point in the manual but it is unclear if it's included in the scanoffix install or what. I have went ito my system and all I can see is a chipset configuration, but you cannot access the BIOS to arrange a parrell port there. I could just scream! Any suggestions would be very much appreciated! Thanks!
