I cannot figure out how to get my sony camcorer to work on my new i book itried to install the soft ware but it only works on 0s9 operating system. amature computer user.

I too am using OSX 10.3 and want to integrate my Sony DCR-DVD101 device with my mac but to no avail of searching for the driver. I can not believe such a costly device, sony would not offer support for. The Sony website does not offer any help. I'm almost done with Sony and their special needs for their devices. Please relay any info. Thanks....

you shouldn't need any drivers for most new firewire cameras, they normally just work in OS X - launch iMovie and see what it says..
