The AD1888 was built by Analog Devices for use in motherboards by many manufacturers. You must say if it's used in a laptop or desktop and what the brand and model is. Or if it's used on a retail motherboard, the brand and model of the mb.

And there is no such thing as a sound device named Intel 82801xx. Sound chips bear names like Realtek, Cmedia, ADI SoundMax, and Sigmatel.


Also, sound devices don't have SCSI interfaces... most modern sound devices are either integrated on the mb. or they are installed on a sound card that interfaces to the pc via ISA or PCI, eg: plugs into a motherboard slot.
