Hi,
I have a Toshiba Portege M300 laptop, I think while removing some programs I removed the audio drivers. Now there is no sound and in the device manager I get 'Multimedia Audio Controller' not installed.

Have tried many audio drivers but nothing worked. Here is the Summary from Everest:

So after downloading the sound driver and installing it, did you find out that it's not an Intel 82801 chip at all but a Sigmatel sound chip instead?

Everest lied to ya!
