This device does not require a driver when used in Windows XP. It must be configured using an ethernet connection to a pc having a web browser. If you don't understand, I suggest you read the user manual located here:

Start at the "Web browser" section on page 5

You open a browser and type the routers ip address into the browser address bar, enter user name and password and that puts you into the routers configuration program. You cannot access this setup program with a wireless connection... you must connect using an ethernet connection. After the configuration is complete and saved, you can then connect with wireless.
