hi, i have a problem to install a pcmcia storage card under linux ubuntu 8.04 with 2.6.24-19-generic kernel.

my card is a M-Systems Flash Disk Pioneers FlashLite 100 model: ldpc-fd-8-v-tc22.

running "dmesg" command in terminal, when I insert and remove the device it output:
[ 296.459098] pccard: PCMCIA card inserted into slot 0
[ 1598.093703] pccard: card ejected from slot 0

but I can't find it in the /dev directory.

In my system i have installed the "pcmciautils" and "pcmcia-cs" packages. what i must to do for view my storage card?

Have Someone any suggestions?
