Help needed for NEC VErsa Lite FXi notebook's sound card. the EV1938v4140w2k.exe setups the card (win 2k driver), but it has a noise like a modem voice and playing MP3s is seems playing 2-3x speed sometimes.

This machine is not supported in Windows XP by NEC. This is the Windows 2000 driver if you wish to try it:
