Guys,

I have LapTop a Sony VAIO VGN NR498E with Windows Vista, I have been experience a lot of problems with this OS and to be Honest with you I HATE IT :furious:

I want to install Windows XP Pro, but Sony says that the Hardware is designed just for Vista (such is not really true, but they wan to force us to use MS Vista).

So, if somebody know a site where I can download the drivers for this model of Laptop ( VGN NR498E ), I'll really appreciate it.

ana_jan,
Please don't tell members to format their hard drive. Doing this destroys all data on the hard drive and is a bit drastic advice to be giving when there's really no need to format a drive that's already been formatted. My advice is only to format c: when all other efforts have failed.

I am realy sorry, never happen again. In my mind was that burn data, before format c: is simply ordinarily.

i had the same problem, but after many time searchin now i have all xp drivers
i will try to upload it

i uploaded video and inf drivers, i am very tired to upload the others drivers. if you want tell me to upload all the drivers, sorry for my english, i am in mexico :D.

The link you gave is drivers for only Windows Vista. The member asked for Windows XP drivers

try searching the exact model and brand of your mouse from the driver section...

Before wiping my VGN-NR498E, I looked at the drivers loaded with Vista. For the mouse, it listed ALPS Pointing Device For Vista.
