hello i have a fujitsu siemens amilo L7310gw laptop and have recently re-installed windows xp and subsequently had ro download and install all relevant drivers for audio, modem etc however the only one that i had trouble with was the wlan driver that when unzipped had a .sys file rather than a setup icon (audio, lan, modem, chipset etc all came with setup icon) so i decided to put the (wlan) .sys file into the c:\windows\system32\drivers folder and still my computer is not recognising any internet activity and is stills aying network cable unplugged , but i need wireless back!!!
can anyone help me?
Thankyou so much for your help

You can download drivers for this laptop from the manufacturer:

thats where i got my drivers from, they all worked apart from the wlan .sys file so i dont understand why it is not working, maybe you could shed some light?

What do you mean wlan.sys is not working? Are you getting some kind of error message telling you so? Please tell us the steps you are using to install the driver?
Note: You should be using ADD NEW HARDWARE icon in Control Panel, then select HAVE DISK, then pointing to the folder where you unzipped the files to and to the INF file in that folder.
And btw, you haven't mentioned what OS you're using. The drivers on the manufacturers website are for Windows XP.
