I have recently installed Windows 98 in a HP Pavilion 8240 computer. The machine has a Pentium MMX processor running at 233 Mhz. The soundcard is an Ensoniq AudioPCI 3000. I get the following message on startup: "The Ensoniq AudioPCI driver cannot load MIDI waveset. MIDI playback has been disabled." I have tried going to Creative.com and downloading the waveset. I notice in my device manager that the driver is listed as "Ensoniq AudioPCI Windows 95 driver. Help!
