Internal drivers normally have an IDE interface and do not require drivers when used in Windows XP. The OS provides native support that allows this drive to read a data or music disk. Please state what the problem is and include some details. ie: is the drive listed in My Computer? Is it flagged as having a problem in Device Manager?
