I Have a windows 2000 professional, i have no disc for it, so i would like to know whats the simplest way of wipping everything from my computer and start over new, because one of my installtion files are currpted so i have no idea how to to reformat if i'm going to have the same error.

Try going to BOOTDISK.com and spend some time checking everything out.
They offer some downloads that can even wipe out an NTFS partition, which for the life of me I've not been able to find how to through MS or elsewhere!
