I have a little web cam with incorporated mic, it also has a little switch to turn on a light and the sticker says view cam 1.1 s/n p71a0024
made in taiwan.
I have lost the driver and been unable to even identify the webcam:hdspin:
Anyone have any ideas?

Hey.
If you're in windows operating environment, try doing the following:
Go to control panel
Find "System"
Enter the device manager
find something like unknown device or anything describing the camera you got
right-click your device and go to the last "information" tab (may be labeled different, depending on your pc language)
find a device id in there and be so kind to post it there. this may help
PS device id look like this (example, yours should look the other way):
HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0888&SUBSYS_1458E601 etc

good job
following your device search you now may want to check out the driver uploaded to driverguide and labeled as Nexxtech 2516506
Check this page and make sure you noticed the "hardware ids supported" - there are one id that looks like yours. Good luck. :)

Took me a while to work out, I had downloaded so many drivers for that webcam that it conflicted with the one you sent me, after I uninstalled them restarted the computer and installed the new one, it worked a treat!!!
Thanks for the help mate
