I am running Windows Vista Ultimate. I went to the Brothers site and downloaded the necessary driver for my labeler. I tried this numerous time and still the labeler would not work. I always got an error message; when I sent it to Brothers, this was their reply: Error 1628 is a computer system issue and it occurs at run time usually when you are trying to uninstall, repair, or update an installation. This error is not related to the Brother label printer or software.


Do any of you have suggestions of what I can try next, please.
