Can´t find the sound driver for my PC..

I use Everest but it´s in German.. i hope it won´t be a problem ^^

What is the pc brand and model this device came integrated on? And is it a desktop pc or notebook?

We must know that information before we can suggest a sound driver. Intel 82801EB is not a sound chipset... it's only a general chipset that's on-board the MB. It fools Everest (and most other ID programs) but is actually not the sound chipset number.

Sound chipsets will bear names like Realtek, Cmedia, ADI SoundMax, or Sigmatel in most cases. If you are unable to examine the mb and see for sure what sound-chip is on-board, then we can only work with a PC brand and model.... ie: what it came installed in from the factory. Just a wild guess but I suspect the sound chipset is Realtek but could be Cmedia or the other 2 brands. If Realtek, it probably has a chipset that bears a number beginning with ALC. This is a very small square or rectangular chip measuring less than 1/2 inch.

You will probably need to install the Intel chipset software for the MB before installing the sound driver but I really cannot be positive until the system brand and model is identified.

i download it but when i try to install the driver it says that there is no driver on my pc ???


I tried to install the chipset Intel® 915GV Express but it didin´t work.

So i started everst again and there are the same information as before.

The Intel Chipset driver is posted right below the audio driver on the link I posted earlier. Is that the one you used? Where do you get this message?
I can't guess so you gotta give details. Everest is not a "fix-it" program, all it does is id your hardware (sort of).

Can you check the motherboard (magnifying glass may be required) and note the ADIxxxx sound chipset number? the xxxx is what I need to know.
