I had to format my hardrive and I didn't have the boot or backup disks.
I tracked down the drivers and installed them but while I browse the net
the mouse starts to get slow and crash. The comp operates fine offline and has another comp on the same dial-up,same password and different phone lines not net-worked. mostly happens when the comp has more then one window up. Is this the hardware, drivers or the online connection? or possibly the setup?

Please respond thank you

It sounds to me like you might have a configuration problem . Check to see that your Temporary Internet Files cache is set to a suitable size. I keep mine set around 5-15 megs, also goto internet explorer>tools>internet options>advanced and check the "empty temporary internet files folder when browser is closed"
As far as the mouse slowing down you may want to throw some more RAM in the box and search the net for a memory manager such as "MEM TURBO II" in order to defrag your RAM while still remaining Online. The program is relitively easy to find and if you do a little reasearch you can probably find a fully regestered copy for free.
