I have tried to hook my nikon d70 to my laptop (Compaq bought in 2001+/-) but the USB has a yellow exclamation point and I can not get it to work. I have windows xp home with SP2 installed.

From some other forums, I unistalled realplayer 10 but still can not get it to work. It works fine on my computer at work (XP pro with SP2)

The USB works allright for my archos music player (kind of like an IPOD) even though it always pops up with a new hardware wizard found and can not install (but it reaks the drive just fine anyway).

Help, PLEASE

Yellow Exclaimation mark? ensure the following then:

1. power up your D70 then plug in. Some, i think ALL will need it to be powerup first

2. Go to Nikon and download the firmware or new drivers.

normally its these 2 problem. but of course it could be a cable or your USB port problem (this happens when there's isn't sufficient power drawn to the port)

Cheers
