I'm in the process of downloading a driver from this site to see if it will work. It says it is a .zip file and I don't have winzip on this machine. Do I need to download it?

Forgive the daft question but I don't usually attempt to interfere with my PC this much... but I have got to get this scanner working!

Any help in words a ten year old would understand would be appreciated...

If you wish to use a file that's in ZIP format, Yes... you must have WinZip program to unzip it. It's free from winzip.com

If you need drivers, you must post your request in the DRIVER REQUEST forum, Scanner section. :gabby:
