I have a tecra 8100 that I have upgraded to XP with no problem. It has an S3 graphics inc. Savage MX for my display. It says I can run two images at once ( the laptop screen and another{which is connected to a projector}). I can get my display to both screens but when I turn off the computer and boot it up at a later date the laptop screen doesn't come back on. I then have to turn on the projector and run my computer from there going into the settings page and adjust it so my screen comes back on, but then my pj screen either goes blank or just shows a picture of my desktop. I then have to manipulate it again so it goes to both screens again. So I have figured out that if I am going to shut down I have to swith it so my pj doesn't project and shut down. Is there anyway that I don't have to go through this procedure? Please help me out. Thanks so much.
