I get the following error message when I bootup my computer. (XP home edition): Ststem32\drivers\stfs.sys missing or corrupt.

I inserted the CD recovery disc and if notes that if I continue the hard drive will be reformated and any all existing files will be deleted.

Please help.

Try to choose repair instalation insted of reinstall :-)
Or run Windows Recovery Console and type sfc /scannow
