I can't seem to figure out what is causing all these .dll errors, programs closing by themselves, and stop error messages. I have posted my problems in here numerous times and I can't seem to figure out what is causing so many problems. I ran diagnostic on the memory and nothing came up.

I got an error about something to run verifier.exe to disable something, still nothing stopped the stop error messages.

The stop error messages I am getting are related to w32.sys and ntoskrnl.exe. Usually with a message like one here:

this: http://www.aumha.org/win5/kbestop.php#0x1e

In aol I am getting

mshtml.dll
ntdll.dll
WININET.dll
MSVCRT.dll

these also trigger other .dll to come up

I am starting to think this is hardware, but I don't know how to check on anything but the memory itself. No probelms come in the Device Manager

Here is what I have installed:

AVG
Ad Aware
Spybot
Hijack This
CCleaner

all of these are ran either daily or weekly. Trust me it is not virus nor spyware related.

I ran an online driver check and it said these were out of date:

Display adapters
VIA Tech VT8361/VT8601 Graphics Controller

Network adapters
Realtek RTL8139(A)-based PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter

Sound, video and game controllers
Avance AC'97 Audio for VIA (R) Audio Controller

Modems
Intel(R) 536EP V.92 Modem

I am pretty sure that the Modem and Display adapter ones are up to date. When I checked on the modem, the driver for May 10, 2002 came up, it is one I already have installed. I downloaded an up to date Display driver from the manufacturer websites. I can't seem to find a windows 2k driver for my sound driver and I have yet to check on the Network one. So I can't seem to figure out why the program was calling some of these out of date.

Any help is appreciated. I'm going nuts trying to fix this.

oops forgot the part where it says i mentioned my problems in here numerous time. i copied and pasted this from another board i posted on.

You might also try closing all running programs (using msconfig) then restart each, one at a time, to see if this solves the stop errors, eg: try to isolate which running program is causing the problem.
