On any Creative cards I've added to my computers, the pink colored jack is the Mic port.

Legacy Audio Drivers (This has a yellow mark which I could never get rid of) You need to enter BIOs and disable the onboard sound. When you have 2 sound cards (an on board and an add on card) you can get conflict between the 2 that can cause some parts of both not to work. Once you disable your onboard sound, your Creative sound card Mic should be working properly provided you are using the right drivers. If you can't find the onboard sound in your BIOs you can enter your Device Manager and click on the Legacy Audio Drivers with the yellow mark, then right click on the Legacy Audio and left click on Properties. At the bottom set Device Usage to

Do Not Use This Device (Disable)
(The yellow mark beside Legacy Audio Drivers will turn RED)

Oh I miss typed, its the Game Port for Creative with the yellow ! mark, as for trying to disable anything within device manger I can only do it with the Creative AudioPCS and Game Port. The error is a code 12, how do I get into BIOS? Not a computer person so dont know much.

When you first start your computer you'll see a message like

To Enter Setup press <F2> or some other key. As for where your sound selection is located, it varies from Motherboard to Motherboard so be careful what you change in BIOs.
