I have recently downgraded from vista to xp and am having trouble finding the modem drivers for my computer.

Since HP only shipped this pc with Windows Vista installed, they only support it in that OS.

One of the first requirements of finding a driver is to id the hardware. All HP tells you is that it has a Conexant based modem. Not useful when looking for a driver for a non-supported os. All you can do is search the HP website for similar pc models that might have the same modem.... or

Run the program and then:

Click on Computer
Click on Summary
Right hand window (hardware) if the text is blue this is a link to the web site for that particular hardware.
