Hi,

I'm getting this

Windows Media Player cannot play this DVD because there is a problem with digital copy protection between your DVD drive, decoder, and video card. Try installing an updated driver for your video card.

when attempting to play some DVD's in Media Player 11.

I've tried XP Codec Pack which hasn't worked. I'd prefer not to have to use another DVD player.

Can you please point me towards a codec that will get around this?

Thanks for your help.

Regards.

Try WinDVD or PowerDVD and you won't have that problem.

Thanks for the advice Jerry.

Is there a plugin for Media Player 11 that you know of that will resolve this?

Again, thanks.

I'm sure there are but I haven't used them. I have WinDVD installed and I can play any movie out there in WMP 11.

You can do a google search for "free audio codecs" and probably find some that will work.
