Could someone tell me how/where to manually install the files for the printer driver (for an HP PCS950 all in one) to a Windows 98 operating system? The self extraction/installation method into the default folder did not work. Can I just manually copy and past the contents to the Drivers\Win98 folder?
Thanks for your time.

Anytime the self extracting/installation file fails to install, that means a previous installation has made corrupted entires in the registry. You can ask HP for instructions on how to fix the problem but they will probably charge you for those instructions. All i can say at this point is the registry must be cleaned of any remanants of the HP install program. Once accomplished the install file will work flawlessly. If you want to learn to manually edit the registry, you can do this procedure in less than 5 minutes.
