hi all
have just d/l the XP driver for my HP sk2506 Keyboard. (this keyboard has extra buttons for shortcuts and a volume control knob on the right hand side)
everywhere i looked everyone mentioned HP computers in connection to the keyboard/driver.
my question is this...
my pc is not an HP computer so would this be why the drivers dont work for me as they should? my keyboard still works but none of the special buttons can be configured as shortcuts to things like find... print.... email...shortcuts etc. tho the volume control knob works. i could of course make my own shortcuts but i want to use the keys set aside on my board for this.
any help appreciated...thanx

If you have the correct Keyboard drivers (with HotKeys program). You Shouldn't have any problem.

Try searching the driver for the HP model. Once you find it, install the keyboard driver and program (Hotkeys or ShortKeys).

This option it doesn't in the Control Panel (Window's Keyboard option).

You can put this in the program keyboard option (the program that you intall).
