Check the game sites you're having problems with to make sure your hardware meets game specifications. Also, have you used Windows Update from your start menu to see if all hardware updates available have been installed? :hdspin:

Obivisouly your system does not meet the game specification.compare your hardware specification and then try again.

The gaming site in question requires a very low spec PC any PC capable of accessing the internet would be able to play these games.

I would think the problem your having is with your Java runtime app.

Try downloading the latest version of Java from http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/download.html

This might cure the problem also clean out your internet cache and cookies as this stores info about the games you visit.
This solution has worked for me in the past.

When I play AOE II my computer crashes, a blue screen comes up with memory dump ati...blah blah blah....and something. I used to be able to play the game no problem. Do you have "any" idea just how many things can cause a system problem?

get a book on basic troubleshooting and read/follow the directions. NARROW DOWN WHAT IT IS NOT....before trying to determine what things may cause/be the problem.
