Optical drives never require a driver other than what is provided by the Windows OS. If you have a SCSI interfaced drive as you say, then all that's required is a driver installed for the scsi controller. But unless you have a very old drive, it is not SCSI. SCSI drives haven't been built in years.

Please clarify the interface and state what the problem is with some details.
