There are no updates for drivers. The only support is what's included with the Windows XP os. Windows XP provides native support that allows any atapi compliant drive to read a data or music disk and to burn a cd-r disk. Any other function like burn cd-rw or dvd or play dvd disks comes from 3rd. party software like Nero or Easy Cd Burner and Windvd or PowerDVD.
