hello

i have hp pavilion dv6000. i change the os to xp pro.
i dowloaded the drivers from hp website and some works, but these @#$% drivers didn't work: sound & modem.

can anyone help me to solve this damn problem? please

Laptops cannot user generic drivers, they must have specific drivers from the laptop maker. Even if you had described the sound device, we cannot help. I suggest trying to find a similar laptop model that uses the same sound chipset and trying that driver (if it's even available). HP has not started supporting laptops in OS's that the laptop wasn't shipped with. XP is a non-supported OS (by HP) for the DV6000.
