using xp home, initial signs is that, its says on the monitor there is error in my sound cards or monitor etc but i can intermittently use the pc.

but now, when i on the pc, its goes to the safe mode page immediately saying bcos of hardware etc (nothing installed).

when i hit safe mode, it will show a page of infomation etc and
(a) some times it will show the xp loo and back to the safe mode page,
(b) it will come back straight to the same page.
some times the wording also grabble or missing an alphabet or 2.

open up - all fans seems to be working. can it be power or vga as i need to find a good one to try on? must i buy thesane vga card? any ideas what cud be wrong. may thanks
