AC 97 is not a sound card model... it's a term adopted by Microsoft in 1997 pertaining to sound standards. Most sound chipsets will bear common names like Cmedia, Realtek, ADI SoundMax, or Sigmatel. If you are unable to id your sound device then at least say what pc system and motherboard is came pre-installed in as most sound drivers are listed by motherboard type of by pc model number. If you are still unable to id the sound device, then I suggest the following software:

Click on Computer
Click on Summary

and fyi, most sound cards or sound chipsets do not have Firewire / 1394 interfaces. If it plugs into a PCI or ISA slot it has a PCI/ISA interface. If it's integrated on a motherboard, it doesn't have an interface.
