I can get the notebook in 800*600 but only in 16 colors!
Can anybody help me get it in more colordisplay?

Since you all were of no help at all, I decided to go and do the good old trial and error way and got it in one go...

Much used Cirrus Logic 5446 PCI driver works like a charm and gave me 16 bit colors.
